Are you still Dropping EC?

I've visited a few blogs today and most of them don't have a new ad on their EC. I myself had only 2 for the past week. I'm wondering if people had stopped using EC as a means to advertise their blogs. I had stopped dropping cards for a couple of months now. And as a result I am not getting that many drops either. Well I was expecting that. And I'm not sure if people are still dropping cards now. I'm totally letting go of EC dropping since it is more like a waste of time than what it used to. I know you can now convert your credits to cash so this can be one way of earning online but do you really think it is worth it? I mean visiting blogs with one purpose in mind - dropping EC. I don't think so.

Blogs exist because people read it, people like it because it is informative. Merely dropping cards in a blog does not make it a useful or informative blog. You might say that it is useful since you are generating traffic. True but it defeats the purpose why the blog was made. It was not for traffic that you created your blog. Or at least I can say that for my own blogs. It should be for content, for information. Traffic should be the result of what the content is and not the other way around. What about you, are you still dropping cards?
